About the Artist

Improperly known as Danny, I grew up in the north Bay Area in California where my family has lived for generations. I have been making art for almost three decades. As a child, I enjoyed making newspapers, magazines, comics, and cartoon characters with nothing but a pencil, paper, and marker pens. Now as an adult, I can confidently tell my younger self that I still enjoy making art and have started developing a career of it, with less marker pens.

Born with Bay Area blood and raised with Southern hospitality, I proudly have the best of both worlds. My upbringing taught me to be warm and welcoming to others, to be kind and caring, to be empathetic and open-minded, no matter how different they are to me. Everyone has their problems, gripes, issues, flaws, and weaknesses. I strive to be someone with an open door and open arms.
